Tasting Notes

1998 was a very great vintage for the wines of Pomerol and St Emilion and this is a stunning example.Extraordinarily deep colour and a lovely, overt nose of grilled meat, chocolate and spices. It has an attractive texture, silky and fleshy and delicious, intense, rich concentrated fruit flavours with layers of spice and chocolate, underpinned with a good, solid structure.
