Our Customer Service and Sales Support department are dedicated to creating a smooth and efficient journey for our customers. Whether processing sales orders, assisting with queries or imparting their wine knowledge, they are always eager and happy to help.
Customer Service Manager
Rose's wine journey officially started in 2003, when she joined Warehouse Wines in her home county of Lancashire. Unofficially, it probably started with a bottle of White Zinfandel at a house party a few years earlier. She started in the Customer Services team, later progressing to Marketing Assistant and then Corporate Account Manager, staying with the company as it became Virgin Wines. In 2016, she finally left The Shire to chance her luck in the Big Smoke (a bit like Babe 2: A Pig in the City) and soon found a home at Armit Wines. She's gone full circle, working in Customer Services once more, putting her sunny disposition to good use. When she's not working or running around after her fiery red-headed toddler Rafferty, she enjoys eating, drinking (more Chablis these days) and trying to avoid losing her northern accent.
Senior Customer Service Advisor
After a stint studying Politics at Plymouth University and propping up some of the city’s wine bars; James began his journey into the wine trade with Majestic in 2003. After two years donning the infamous green shirt in various southern stores he ditched the T and headed off to Australia for a stint of travelling. Upon his return from Australia, James started working for Berkmann Wine Cellars in 2007, where he had almost every job role, ranging from Sales Support to Account Management in the off trade until 2015. James then joined the Armit Ranks in June 2015. A passion for sport, and a frustration with golf and tennis keep him busy in his spare time, as well as being married to a lawyer and being a father to his daughters Marina and Darcey!
Sales Support & Customer Service
Robecca joined Armit Wines in April 2016. She began her career in television public relations. After several years, she was offered the opportunity to join an editorial team publishing cookbooks and wine guides. Merging a passion for media relations and a burgeoning interest in wine, Robecca embarked on a decade long career in wine PR. During this time, she worked her way from jr. publicist to Director of RSmith PR garnering media coverage, organizing trade & consumer events, accompanying journalists to vineyards and developing brand strategy. Robecca joins the Sales Support team from Christie’s wine department. In her off time, Robecca enjoys spending time with her baby and husband discovering the nooks and crannies of England and continuing her wine education with WSET.
