James joins Armit Wines after nearly 8 years at Liberty Wines where he sold wine to a range of restaurant and retail customers which was great preparation for his new role. Prior to that he worked in sales roles at Majestic and Matthew Clark, which he actually admits enjoying at the time thanks to his Soho territory. James lived in Italy as a student which started his passion for all things Italian, wines especially of course, and continues to enjoy travelling all around the world in his spare time as well as enjoying the London restaurant scene.

Simon started out in the wine trade with Enotria in 1989, following five years in the restaurant & hotel industry. Initially working in the off-trade Simon moved on to restaurants outside London, expanding their customer base over a 19 year period alongside developing a sales team that covered the south of the UK. It was over this extensive period that Simon developed his expertise and lifelong passion for Italian wines. In 2009, Simon opened his own independent wine merchant in Stony Stratford, Buckinghamshire. Now established, Simon has rejoined the wholesale side of the trade to develop Armit Wines’ presence with prestige hotels & restaurants outside London.
London Account Manager - Italian Specialist
Marco joins Armit with a wealth of fine wine experience having worked in the Harrods wine department for 5 years and Selfridges wine department for 2 years. He fell in love with wines at the tender age of 8 when he tasted his first drop of red in the Oltrepo’ Pavese, following his veterinary father healing animals in farms in the area. Marco loves anything from Tuscany, the region of his grandparents, and dreams to own his own vineyard there... one day!
