ITALY

Italy is a wonderful patchwork quilt of a country with incredible regionality and local traditions. Nowhere more is this apparent than in the rich profusion of indigenous grape varieties that grace the slopes and plains of many of Italy's wine producing regions. The production of fine Italian wines dates back over a thousand years. But it wasn't until relatively recently that a wave of young producers started to turn their attention to producing eye catching fine wines. We are proud to represent some of the true icons of the Italian wine scene and with the recent run of fine vintages there has never been a better time to discover some of these gems. Explore our full...

ITALIAN WINES BY REGION

One of the most picturesque Italian wine regions, Tuscany is world-renowned for the variety of wines produced - from sweet dessert wines, to dry whites, to popular full bodied Italian red wines. The southernmost Italian wine region, Sicily, boasts Syrah – a wine that compares favourably with the Rhône Valley thanks to the near constant sunshine and dependable rainfall. Explore wines from the small vineyards of Piedmont, nestled at the foot of the Dolomites in the north of the country, and central-eastern Abruzzo, home of the Montepulciano grape yielding great-value, full-bodied Italian red wines.

Explore our carefully curated Italian wines by region.
