Our PortfolioItaly

Italy is a wonderful patchwork quilt of a country with incredible regionality and local traditions. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the wealth of indigenous grape varieties that grace the slopes and plains of Italy's wine-producing regions. While wine production dates back centuries, it wasn't until relatively recently that a wave of producers set new benchmarks for fine Italian Wines. Italy is now synonymous with some of the greatest wines in the world. Whether you like a more modernist or traditionalist approach, international or indigenous varieties, the Italian wine scene has never been more exciting.

Bottle shot of 2016 Ça Va Sans Dire, Timorasso
Tasting Notes

"The Ça Va Sans Dire is Natale’s take on Timorasso being identified as the grape capable of making age-worthy, mineral and complex whites in the vein of a fine Chablis. This is a zesty, textural and vibrant wine with waxy undertones, finishing on a refreshing herbal and menthol note. Only 3000 bottles produced from a tiny 0.8ha plot in Casasco."...

Bottle shot of 2021 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Rancia
Tasting Notes

"Now upgraded to Gran Selezione status, the Fèlsina 2021 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Rancia shows a dark fruit profile with blackcurrants and wild plum. Those black and purple fruits cede to mineral notes of crushed slate or iron ore. The finish is dusty and dry because those mineral notes are reinforced by powdery tannins." 94 Points, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate

Bottle shot of 2022 GiovinRe
Low Stock
Tasting Notes

"Michele Satta is one of Italy's biggest ambassadors for the Viognier grape that he pretty much single-handedly brought to this part of the Tuscan Coast. His 2022 Giovin Re is immediately generous and rich with honey, baked apple, a note of spicy saffron and an elegant mineral note at the back. The acidity is very nice with tart lemon and...

Bottle shot of 2022 Castel Ringberg Chardonnay Riserva
Tasting Notes

"A toasty style with assertive and elegant wood aromas combined with citrusy pink-grapefruit notes. Medium-bodied, the palate seems more focused on freshness with zesty acidity, tight-knit structure and a savory, vibrant finish. Drink or hold. May 2025" 96 points. James Suckling

Bottle shot of 2023 Boggina Bianco
Low Stock
Tasting Notes

“The 2023 Trebbiano Boggina B is one of the best vintages of this wine I have tasted. Aromatic, layered and super-expressive, the 2023 is an absolute delight from the very first taste. Floral overtones meld into apricot, peach, almond, chamomile and dried herbs. Fermentation in barrel leaves a slightly phenolic, bitter character that is quite appealing. The long, substantial finish...

Bottle shot of 2021 Boggina Anfora
Tasting Notes

"The 2021 Boggina A, 100% Sangiovese in amphora, is brilliant. Medium in body and wonderfully translucent, the 2021 captures all the magic of the year in its finely cut, chiseled personality. Once again, Luca Sanjust and his team have turned out a stunning, vivid Sangiovese that is a far cry from earlier vintages, when this wine was often much less...

Bottle shot of 2017 Barbaresco Riserva Basarin
Low Stock
Tasting Notes

"An organic estate energetically managed by Marina Marcarino. Here, the fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeast and the maceration long; even more than four weeks. Then, classically, the wine ages in large oak vessels for at least 24 months with additional time in bottle. The wine seems to be rickety on the nose at first, before revealing instead a multifaceted...

Bottle shot of 2018 Amarone Riserva
Tasting Notes

"The 2018 Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva is impossible to ignore. Bright cherry-berry fruits burst from the glass, complemented by autumnal spices and a hint of blood orange. Energetic to the core, it features tart raspberry and citrus tones propelled by vibrant acidity, while a tactile mineral tinge adds crunch toward the close. A web of fine tannins frames the finish...

Bottle shot of 2021 Fontalloro
Tasting Notes

"The Fèlsina 2021 Fontalloro reveals an elegant bouquet with a streamlined character that delivers good intensity but never goes overboard. In fact, this vintage might be a little thinner than I remember past vintages being. But Sangiovese wears this slender style well and delivers lots of wild cherry and forest berry nuances along the way. You also get soft mineral...

Bottle shot of 2021 Barolo Bussia
Tasting Notes

"Monforte d’Alba. Lustrous mid ruby with orange tinges. Enticing nose of spicy stalks, minerally saline notes and subdued fruit that slowly opens up with aeration. Suave cherry fruit with just the right dose of supple acidity, finely ground tannins and a whiff of exotic spice. Stunning balance. Closes up on the finish so more to come." 18 Points, Walter Speller,...
