Petrolo is located in the Val d'Arno within the Tuscan hills, an area not widely known. Petrolo is a family-owned estate with 26ha of vineyards, located in the hills of eastern Chianti, just outside the boundary of Chianti Classico, between 250 and 450m above sea level. Often described as one of Tuscany's Cult wineries, this Super Tuscan estate has a history dating back to the 1700s. However, it was in the 1990s that Petrolo made a name for itself amongst the leaders of the Tuscan revolution, thanks to its expression of Merlot, Galatrona, first produced in 1994. Customer Listings
