Tasting Notes

A really mature nose of sous-bois, mushroom and truffles with a warm earthiness, this is a gentle fully mature St Emilion that particularly lends itself to game or ripe cheeses. On the palate, this still has plenty of life and exhibits cloves, pepper and gentle cedar spice and a meaty note with a little star anise. The tannins are smooth and completely integrated and this is perfect for current drinking. The sediment is very fine but we suggest decanting 30mins before serving.
