Good bright, full red. Pure aromas of bitter cherry and flowers. Rather suave on entry, then an essence of pinot in the middle, with a subtly perfumed quality to the red raspberry and floral flavors. Finishes stylish and long, with sweet tannins. A very harmonious wine that I might have identified as coming from Vosne-Romanee. Arnoux notes that this has just started to open up in the barrel.

Tasting Notes

A more subtle, reserved and overtly mineral nose, this is a wine of great depth with finely detailed spicy fragrances, rich tannins and rounded feel. This is confident wine that hasn¿t had to move out of second gear to already be impressive.
