Tasting Notes

This excellent Chianti Classico displays ripe, warm and autumnal aromas with plenty of spicy blackcurrant and black cherry fruit. The palate is layered and complex, combining herbs, tea leaves and a bitter chocolate quality. Full, rich and concentrated, this Chianti is wonderfully appealing with a firm tannic backbone. At its best when paired with hearty stews or pasta with a rich ragu sauce.
