Reviews & Scores

The 2010 Touriga Nacional Quinta Da Falorca, the red label, is revisited this issue for a checkup. I liked this a lot when I first saw it over a year ago, when it had only been in bottle for some 90 days. Tasting it with more time in the bottle shows it to be even better. First, let's talk about the elegant and silky mid-palate. Then, add the impeccable balance that makes this late-released Touriga sensual and approachable. Now, let's mention the astonishing intensity of flavor. You could just swoon there. But don't forget the increasing complexity and tension it shows as it airs out. It is also pulling in the oak well. Slip this into a Burgundy tasting. It should have some fans. This wonderful boutique isn't doing much wrong these days. Drink 2015-2032
