An unsung hero of the Arnoux-Lachaux cellar, the old vines of Poisets again give a wine of extra depth and intensity, the tannins refined but providing structural support. On the palate, there is plenty of sweet fruit to enjoy but so too spices and a light touch of pepper. Drink from 2015.
Reviews & Scores
A lightly spicy but notably earthy nose of a ripe and very fresh array of mixed red berries gives way to rich and utterly delicious flavors that possess excellent volume before terminating in a seductively textured finish that is shaped by dense but fine tannins. Again, this is first rate for its level.

(from vines in excess of 70 years of age, according to Pascal Lachaux): Deep red. Aromas of red and black cherry and licorice. Dense, concentrated and sweet, with a sappy quality to its dark fruit flavors. Finishes with serious but fine tannins and very good length.
88-91 Points, Stephen Tanzer
