Tasting Notes

A medium bodied, aromatic wine with a bouquet of sweet cherries and raspberries on the nose with bright forest fruit flavours on the palate. Smooth textures and a spicy note on the finish add complexity and depth. Drink this delicious wine over the next few years. Drink from release.

Reviews & Scores

A stunning bargain.. the 2012 Malbec Lujan de Cuyo - Maipu (15,000 cases produced) was aged six months in a combination of French and American oak (10% new). A Malbec fruit bomb, it offers notes of melted chocolate, espresso roast, blackberries and blueberries, medium to full body, silky tannins, and a lush, heady, full throttle style with no hard edges, but impressive purity. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. This is a lot of wine for a bargain basement price.

TASTING NOTES

A very elegant wine with dark cherry aromas intermingled with dried summer fruits and wild herbs. The vibrant palate has intense bright cherry fruit flavours balanced by seamless tannins and mineral freshness. Complex and refined this wine will be delicious to drink over the next few years but will age well for at least a decade. Drink from 2019.Armit Wines
