Sweet fruit and strong violet character. Something a bit varnish-like too. Fine-grained tannins, good freshness and a black pepper sort of finish ? but it?s pretty modest at the moment. The concentration of fruit bodes well for ageing though.

(40% vendange entier): Bright red. A sexy note of reduction to the wild aromas of redcurrant, rust and minerals. Intensely flavored and nicely perfumed in the mouth, with lovely floral lift to the strawberry fruit. A lovely aromatic midweight from whiter soil.

Tasting Notes

Complex and energetic with subtle notes of lavender and spice, this has an elegant sweetness on the palate with fine tannins and a refreshing mineral quality which runs through to a long finish. This is a vital wine with a lot going on but there is still plenty more to come.
