Tasting Notes

Created in 2000, the Tiberio Estate is a rising star in Italy. A simple philosophy runs through the estate, respect the "terroir" whilst making modern wines. As we started tasting this Pecorino, hints of citrus charmed the nose moving towards a soft soupçon of peaches and white melon. On the palate the fresh acidity is beautifully balanced by richness due to the old age of the vines, letting flavours of citrus and granny smith apples enchant the mouth, finishing on a subtle note of saltiness reminding us of the vineyard's proximity to the sea. Quite simply mind-boggling value for a Gambero Rosso winner.
