At the 2014 Italian Tasting, one of the wines was Cantine Lunae's Etichetta Nera (Black Label). Something a little different, it stood out for many of the guests attending. All of the classic zesty lemon, melon and floral aromas that you get from Vermentino are revved up a few notches, so the bouquet explodes out of the glass. This is super clean, with crisp minerality and freshness that balance out the extra oomph perfectly. This is a stonking wine that is beautiful on its own, but will stand up to light lunches, BBQs, fruity summer salads and entertaining your guests. The Etichetta Nera is a people pleaser and will be perfect throughout Spring and the summer months!
