PINOT NOIR, DrinkingThe 2014 Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyards Old Vines emerges from the M and Q blocks, both planted in 1973. Interestingly, the Old Vines is quite a bit more delicate than the straight Bien Nacido Pinot. There is almost no impression of tannin, as all the elements are so well balanced. I expect the 2014 will reward readers with a long drinking window of pure pleasure.
