The 2015 Marsanne has fresh apple, waxy lemon and lime leaves notes with a hint of grass. Light bodied and dry, it has a savory / yeasty character on the palate lifted by citrusy flavors and a racy backbone.Armit Winesmore
Riesling, Cork, Drinking Now 2022
The Gaisberg vineyard is considered one of the best of the entire region owing to its South Easterly exposure. On the nose this starts out with a wave of citrus that becomes increasingly impressive with marzipan and peach. The wine’s voluminous body rapidly releases the fruit, the residual sugar perfectly offsetting its acidity. With an attractively lingering aftertaste, the wine displays high drinkability and a classic varietal character. This is a perfect match for seafood.
