Reviews & Scores

This rare varietal was first planted at Tahbilk in the 1990s, with releases to date decidedly fruit-forward in style. Our 2015 Viognier is no exception to the rule! Aromas of ginger, rose petals and citrus blossom; the palate is softly textured with an apricot, stone-fruit intensity, honeysuckle notes and a long fragrant finish. Don’t look for long-term cellaring here, we consider our Viognier best in its joyful expression of youthful exuberance, perhaps with apricot chicken or a seafood pie.
