Tasting Notes

The colour itself is immediately appealing. Notes of melon and pretty floral blossoms abound. Broad, encompassing and ripe, this is indulgent yet never heavy. A delicious contradiction of buttery yet light mouthfeel flows into flavours of softly nuanced tangerine as well as apple and pear. A long lingering finish rounds off this utterly moreish wine.

A true pioneer, Gaston Huet was one of the first vignerons to adopt biodynamic practices and to focus on single-vineyard bottlings. Remaining true to the philosophy of the founders, Sarah Hwang and Jean-Bertrand Berthomé continue to craft superbly long-lived Chenin Blanc from their three vineyards.
