Drinking 2017This vineyard was planted by Jean-Marc’s grandfather, Etienne Sauzet, and produces a richer style of Puligny. The 2016 has a lovely multi-layered nose that shows great potential. In the mouth we also have a broad, multi-dimensional wine melding fruit and acidity in equal measure. There is a slightly chalky minerality on the finish helping the fruit linger on the palate. An excellent Champ Canet.
