This years Chassagne Morgeot is surprisingly open on the nose showing inviting peach and apricot fruit characters with a lift of flowers. The palate is succulent and juicy but with a refreshing, chalky mineral backbone which provides lovely depth and length. Drink from 2015.
Brisk, bright in colour, there are some lemon notes and a touch of fresh reduction. It is middleweight and softly oaked, with a good, crisp finish and an attractive weight of fruit. Will round out into a classic Meursault.Armit Wines
