61% Merlot/39% Cabernet Franc The spiciness of Cabernet Franc combines with the generous, plump aromas of Merlot. We remain in fresh red fruit territory with sufficient tension and precise detail and- perhaps the vintage hallmark- those terrific, juicy tannins again, along with an extra dash of cream. Notes of red and black berry-fruit, spicy undertones and a medium-bodied palate with a velvety texture and fine tannins. It is extremely fresh, with good acidity. This is easy-to-drink and gives lots of pleasure. Quite representative of Ribera and a good value too.90 points, Luis Gutiérrez, the Wine Advocate

95% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Sémillon. Barrel sample. Slightly cloudy. Keen and fresh. Lemon-citrus fragrance with a chalky edge. Sweet touch on attack indicates maturity, thereafter the palate is long, linear, and direct. More restrained than Grand Village but great harmony and persistence. Just goes on and on. Class act and a long, long way from varietal Sauvignon. JR
