Red-ruby. Aromas of plum, black raspberry, black cherry, smoke and leather. Lush but slightly tart, with plum and black raspberry flavors along with a light leathery note. Offers good texture but only modest sweetness. Stephen Tanzer

Tasting Notes

A classic Langoa which is now providing much pleasure,particularly at such a keen price! The tannins are integratedand softened although there will always be some grip and astrong mineral backbone. The fruit is still quite primary, withblackcurrant notes dominating but around the edges there aresofter, spicier notes peeking through. Drink now and over the next10 years.
