Tasting Notes

An attractive, elegant black cherry nose, an easy-paced delivery and a gently concentrated mid-palate. While it should gain further weight in barrel, this should be accessible young as it does not have the raw tannic power of many others offering instead a gentle, classic and confident style, a solid finish and a welcome sense of restraint. 16 points

Reviews & Scores

(a blend of 59% cabernet sauvignon, 29% merlot, 7% cabernet franc and 5% petit verdot) Aromas of dark cherry, licorice, minerals and bay leaf, with a light weedy quality. Then supple, sweet and fruit-driven, with good breadth for the year. Finishes with rather suave tannins and good length. 87-89 points
