Tasting Notes
The 2008 Falletto is an incredibly attractive and refined Barolo with a bouquet of red berry fruits and perfumed, almost sensuous floral characters and hints of white truffles. There is excellent balance, depth and definition on the palate supported by firm but very elegant tannins. Savoury red cherry and cassis notes and a refined mineral character on the finish give great elegance and length.
Reviews & Scores
(white label): Medium reddish-amber. Very spicy aromas of red berries, cherry, rose petal and menthol, plus a whiff of darker blueberry. Dense, sweet and bright, with bright acidity and a strong floral element providing left. Smooth in the middle, with more mid-palate stuffing to support its serious tongue-dusting tannins than the Asili. Built for a slow and graceful evolution in bottle.
