Tasting Notes

Very pure, ripe cassis on the nose, the essence of Cabernet. On the palate, this is smooth and silky with plenty of flesh and a greater sense of accessibility than many of its neighbours but no lack of grip and rigour either. Focused and precise with beautiful fragrances and notes of black cherry, mint, tobacco and wood spices, this is a grand, sumptuous Ducru of high class that will also keep very well. Bravo Bruno, encore! Drink 2018-2035+ (85CS:15M)

Reviews & Scores

Fabulous nose of crushed blackberries, minerals and raspberries, with hints of licorice. Full, with very fine tannins and a racy finish. I love the precision of the tannins and the long finish. - 90-93 points
