Displays lots of currant and berries on the nose, with hints of sweet tobacco. Medium- to full-bodied, with tar and berry character, soft, round tannins and a medium finish. 87-90 points Wine Spectator

Tasting Notes

Another classic Pauillac nose of blackcurrant and cedar, this is pure with dense textures but also more glycerol, allowing the wine to glide across the palate. The sensation here is more of elegance than raw power, clear evidence that Charles Chevalier has fine tuned this far above its fourth-growth status. Drink 2015-2030
