Tasting Notes

Fresh cut flowers on the nose, very pretty and nicely restrained. Notes of grapefruit, lime and gooseberry on the palate, a soft creamy note and plenty of depth and crisp acidity running through. This is an elegant, noble wine that should feature high on the shopping list for fans of Bordeaux¿s top whites.

Reviews & Scores

Beautiful apple pie, lemon and apricot aromas. Full-bodied, with complex apple tarte Tatin and lemon peel flavors. There's bright acidity, but this is well-integrated. Solid. The best dry white of the vintage. - 92-95 points

TASTING NOTES

A supple, attractive and very enjoyable white Burgundy. This is a relatively simple style but it still has a mineral backbone and plenty of acidity to balance the approachable sweet fruit. Not the most complicated 2009 in the range but wonderfully enjoyable right now. Delicious.

TASTING NOTES

Rich, leesy, mealy wine with notes of lemon and pink grapefuit, sherbet and a considerable sense of dimension here. Oak showing too but very well integrated with the zippy fruit. The finish reverberates, comes back time and again with another wave of flavour. Terrific wine. 83 Sem : 17 SB

TASTING NOTES

Crisp lemon fruit with rich mealy notes and a dense texture on the palate, this is really alive, with lovely acidity and plenty of minerality. Very clean and crisp with a long finish but more power than its sibling, this is the Bâtard to the Chevalier. Drink 2014-2025
