Thick and very rich for the vintage, with loads of apple, cream, honey, toffee and botrytis character. Full and layered. 90-93 points Wine Spectator

Tasting Notes

Passion fruit and pineapple and plenty of botrytis influence here, this is intense, very sweet and luscious. Notes of mango and cream on the palate and fine lingering finish. One of the more decadent and successful Sauternes of 2008. Drink 2013-2025 - 15.5 points
