Tasting Notes

An old-school, meaty, savoury nose with notes of fruit-cake and leather. On the palate, the wine has a breezy attack, a broad and sturdy structure but with fine tannins, well-integrated wood and an accomplished finish. There is more finesse than we have seen of late and certainly more precision. Gruaud definitely back to its best. Drink 2019-2030+. 16.5

Reviews & Scores

Decanter: Dense purple red, rich, robust warm autumn fruits, smooth and succulent, a touch of exotic spice, fine balance and length. Drink 2015-30. 17.5
