Tasting Notes

Bright, crunchy raspberry fruit on the nose and a faint waft of liquorice peeping through, there is excellent balance and freshness in this wine and while not as soft and fleshy as the Vosne, it shows more density and depth with clear minerality already a feature. Pascal remarked that it was one of the slowest through malolactic fermentation which can often suggest a slower pace of evolution going forward also. Treat it as a 1er Cru and you won¿t be far wide of the mark.
