Tasting Notes

The 2010 is a very elegant and aromatic wine with a bouquet of delicate stone fruits, green apples and white flowers with a mineral character in the background. The palate is bursting with delicate white peach and apricot fruit characters with hints of green apple and pear balanced by a very refreshing and lively acidity which runs right through to the finish. A hint of spice and a refined mineral note give focus and length. Delicious now this wine has the potential to cellar for twenty years will develop in richness and complexity as it matures. Drink 2012 ? 2025.

TASTING NOTES

The 2018 Mongrana, Querciabella's entry-level red, is fabulous. A burst of dark cherry, plum, spice, new leather and chocolate gives the 2018 so much immediacy and sheer appeal. Overall, this is a pretty restrained style for the Tuscan coast. There is so much to like here. 90 points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous
