Reviews & Scores
From younger vines, the straw-yellow colored 2010 Vouvray Pétillant Brut offers a very clear and delicate, yet concentrated and chalky flavored bouquet of stone fruits, quinces and lemon. Round, light and refined on the palate, this is a deliciously fruity, well-structured and very satisfying sparkling wine with a good length and a nicely chalky texture. A serious Prosecco killer. The wine was bottled in September 2011 and disgorged after three years sur latte. Score: 88 Points Stephan Reinhardt, erobertparker.com
Lovely honey scent with vibrant green apple and vivid citric acidity on the palate. Good biscuit autolysis character, leaving a persistent mealy note on the finish. 12.5%.
