Tasting Notes

One of the outstanding whites of the vintage, Alix's Corton Charlemagne is intensely mineral on the nose with a linear flintiness and a tense core of chilled lemon. At this stage the palate is reluctant to show its full hand but the complexity and depth is more than apparent. Minerality is the most abundant character right now but the delicate creaminess on the finish and a gorgeous extract build an excellent structure. Drink from 2017.

Gravelly Meadow is Diamond Creek’s...
