In the hands of the Tiefenbrunner estate, Muller Thurgau make something of true beauty. The far northern region of Italy; Alto Adige, is the perfect environment for creating aromatic whites and Tiefenbrunner achieve this with aplomb. This is an immensely complex white offering up peaches, apples and a hint of jasmine tea. A beautiful hazelnut character develops on the palate and leaves you with an overall impression of a wine of great elegance and finesse.

Before the end of the 2nd World War, Herbert Tiefenbrunner started work as a winemaker when he was only 15 years of age. Along with his wife, they took over the winery in 2000 with a commitment to continue in the centuries-old tradition of Tiefenbrunner wine-making culture. His philosophy is crafting wines with a distinctive personality, to outlast fashion ad trends. The result is a vibrant, expressive range that concentrates on single varietal, mountain fruit.
