Tasting Notes

We tasted wines from two barrels of which the first was hardly oaked and the second was more oaked. The first barrel showed beautiful elegance and purity of red cherry fruit, while the second offered more tannins and structure with darker, more exotic notes and spicier flavours. Together these flavours will meld into a brilliant, elegantly fruity wine with real backbone and complexity, at a price which shows why the wines from this domaine are increasingly popular. Drink from 2015.

TASTING NOTES

An extremely elegant reserva with an enveloping bouquet of crushed red cherries and subtle spices with just a hint of lavender. On the palate, smooth textures and bright red berry fruits are balanced by a refined mineral character which leads to a long and refreshing finish. Beautifully defined and supple, and almost Burgundian in style, this wine will age well...
