This initially opened with a hint of reduction though it doesn't require much swirling to reveal somber notes of various dark berries, earth and an interesting smoky hint. The delicious, round and nicely detailed middle weight flavors possess good vibrancy as well as a sleek mouth feel, all wrapped in a moderately complex and nicely balanced finale. This is not particularly complex and there is a hint of warmth yet the overall effect is more harmonious than the description would suggest. Note this could easily be enjoyed now.88 Points, Burghound
