Tasting Notes

The 2012 Brut Vintage consists of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, from Grands and Premiers Crus in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, then aged for 7 years on the lees before disgorgement. Pale golden in the glass, the 2012 is classic Pol Roger: elegant and poised, with an abundance of bruised apples, ripe peaches, white flowers, dried fruits and gingerbread. Concentrated and wonderfully persistent, this is serious, age-worthy Champagne. Drink 2020 until 2035+.
