Scores

The 2012 Puligny-Montrachet Village comes from a parcel within the lieu-dit "La Rue aux Vaches" that was planted in 1957. It offers a lively, dewy, green apple bouquet with a touch of flint. The palate is well endowed for a village cru with plenty of ripe hazelnut-tinged citric fruit, a fine line of acidity and good presence on the long, satisfying finish. Excellent. Score: 90 points Neal Martin (WA)

Tasting Notes

This is very refreshing and persistent with chalky citrus aromas and lovely length on the palate. Pithy citrus flavours mingle with grapefruits, lemons and a spicy mineral quality. This will age well for five or more years but will also be delicious soon after release. Drink from 2015.
