Tasting Notes

Named after Angelo's youngest daughter Rossana, this is a magnificently aromatic and deliciously pure flavoured wine. The grapes come from three terroirs; the Rossj and Bass vineyards in Barbaresco and a small vineyard in Serralunga. The combination of terroirs with a short period in barriques produces an intensely complex and satisfying wine. Very elegant, with a bouquet of citrus fruits and white flowers and a hint of honey, the 2012 has lovely depth with a fine mineral character and a refreshing, lingering finish. Delicious on release, it will age well for eight to ten years. Drink 2013 ? 2021.
