Tasting Notes

Dried cherries, raspberries, tobacco and crushed flowers rise effortlessly from the glass. Delicate berry-infusions are contained within a tightly packed tannic structure. But the texture is beautifully silken. Freshness and verve are the hallmarks of this appealing vintage and this wonderful Barolo has it in spades.

Reviews & Scores

Fenocchio's 2013 Barolo is an attractive, entry-level offering. Sweet red cherry, plum, mint and orange peel give the wine a slightly exotic feel. Soft tannins and mid-weight structure mean the 2013 can be enjoyed soon after release.
