Tasting Notes
A very appealing and refined wine with an attractive bouquet of bright red cherries with darker sweeter notes in the background and a hint of violets, the 2013 has a lovely supple fruit character on the palate with excellent length and a fine mineral structure. Elegantly balanced and well defined, this wine needs a year or two in bottle before drinking and will age well for twenty years. Drink 2016?2030.

The blend consists of 95% Tempranillo from 40-year-old vines in Las Cuevas, El Palo and Las Monjas in Rodezno, complemented with 5% Graciano from the Montecillo estate in Fuenmayor.
