Tasting Notes

This is such fine quality white Burgundy, from what is a century old producer. Beautifully balanced, rich and fine, there is a real depth of flavour too. Subtle oak characters are seamlessly integrated alongside the fresh, juicy, layered white fruits. It is really quite complex, but possesses a racy character too, citrus really coming to the fore. A textured, soft palate gives way to a creamy, spicy finish before a long, fresh and mouth-watering finish. Quite delicious and very appealing, the minerality on the finish makes it deeply satisfying.

Reviews & Scores

A clean white, verging on racy, offering apple, lemon and mineral flavors in a fruity style. Shows balance and fine length on the finish. Drink now through 2020.
90/100, Wine Spectator
