Tasting Notes
This is hitting quite a few sweet spots; developed enough, but still fresh. Full-textured, but not too extracted. Still, it is quite a decadent style with strawberry cheesecake and the forest-floor savour of some Pinot Noir development. A lovely, ethereal rosehip/autumn jelly character is here too, but it is still succulent and fresh with a delicate almond-sponge richness. Fully settled on the palate, with some creamy oak nicely woven in, it really is quite unctuous with a lasting frangipane-rich finish.
