El Vinculo began as a challenge: to produce high-quality wine in La Mancha, a region of central Spain with little reputation for fine wine. It is no surprise that the Fernández Rivera family, creators of Pesquera, succeeded. Located in Campo de Criptana, a town made famous by the windmills in Don Quixote, the wines are crafted from old vines rescued by the family.
