Grand Cru Releases: Burgundy En Primeur 2019

Last but not least, it is with great pleasure that we present the Grand Cru wines from our Burgundy EP offering.

Along with many of the excellent 1er Cru releases which can be found here, the Grand Crus represent the very pinnacle of Burgundy, their time-tested terroir yielding majestic, age-worthy wines of remarkable depth of flavour, which continue to challenge, surprise and thrill us.

Whilst we will always do our best to accommodate your requests, please note that many of the Grand Cru wines are sold strictly by allocation. With small quantities and demand exceeding supply, we will prioritise balanced orders and strongly recommend the superlative Bourgogne and Village wines, which punch well above their weight in 2019.

If you wish to discuss any wine in particular, or would like further guidance, then please do not hesitate to contact the Private Client Team. We look forward to hearing from you!

Neal Martin says: "more backward and tight on the nose than the regular Chevalier, though with aeration subtle Golden Delicious apple, white Chinese tea and citrus aromas emerge. The palate is medium-bodied with a saline entry. This has a little more nervosité than the regular cuvée and displays excellent delineation on the flinty finish. Great potential."
