Beaux Frères was founded in 1986 by the pioneering Etzel family. The estate quickly gained iconic status and international recognition during the 1990s. Since then, the Etzels have focused on developing vineyards in the Willamette Valley and Ribbon Ridge AVA, now regarded as producing some of the most prestigious Pinot Noir outside Burgundy. In 2022, Beaux Frères was acquired by Artemis Domaines as part of their merger with Maisons & Domaines Henriot. Artemis Domaines’ portfolio is among the most dynamic in the world and has the potential to elevate Beaux Frères into one of the most sought-after estates from the US.
