Founded by the Fernández Rivera family in the early 1990s, the château-style Condado de Haza offers an intriguing exploration of Ribera del Duero’s terroir. The vineyards lie close to the winery, dug directly into a hillside in the cooler northern part of the appellation, in Burgos province. Using the same techniques and expertise as Pesquera, the vineyards here produce a taut, structured style of Tempranillo.
