It is light and super long, with an herbal twist (à la Cabernet Franc), very spicy, with great complexity, floral and aromatic. The early-harvested grapes fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts in concrete vats and were kept in concrete for five...

The blend consists of 95% Tempranillo from 40-year-old vines in Las Cuevas, El Palo and Las Monjas in Rodezno, complemented with 5% Graciano from the Montecillo estate in Fuenmayor. The Graciano gives the wine an aromatic intensity and acidity, to carry the structure and elegance of the Tempranillo. The grapes are vinified separately in four-and-a-half-year-old American oak for three years, and...

Terroir Sense Fronteres was established three years ago by winemaker Dominik Huber, who is widely known for his Priorat property Terroir al Limit, which he founded with Eben Sadie in 2001. Terroir Sense Fronteres began when Dominik acquired a four-hectare plot in 2016 as part of another deal; this land sits in Montsant DO despite being just a few hundred metres down the road from his land in Priorat. On his first visit, Dominik was delighted to discover 75-year old Grenache vines planted in a natural amphitheatre of red clay and gypsum. Free from the tight regulations in Priorat, he set about producing modern, sensual wines with no oak that are thoroughly impressive.
