Discover:Domaine des Mapliers

Jean Gallo has been passionate about wine for over 40 years, an enthusiasm he transmitted to his son, and in 2013 they acquired a vineyard – but not just any vineyard. Located in the heart of Provence Varoise, the site previously supplied top-quality fruit to the celebrated Domaine Ott (whose premium rosé retails at £30+ per bottle!). When they decided to bottle their rosé exclusively, that is when our Master Sommelier Nicolas Clerc took the opportunity to bring them into the Armit family and to your table.

Certified organic and produced exclusively from free-run juice, production is strictly artisanal, and we firmly believe there is no better quality Provence rosés for the money!

Domaine des Mapliers:'Abacus'

After tasting hundreds of samples and waiting patiently for the right one, we believe Domaine des Mapliers wines could be the best Provence rosé out there, and we are not alone. Decanter magazine blind tasted 91 Provence rosés and awarded the 2018 'Abacus' the best in class, awarding it a massive 95-97 points, which is its highest score for a rosé. All this for only £21.90 per bottle on your table.

In fact, we are so confident you will enjoy this rosé that we will encourage you to secure one of their limited edition double magnums, perfect for entertaining. These are available in very limited quantities and we recommend securing yours early to avoid disappointment.

Domaine des Mapliers'Préférences'

While Mapliers' ‘first’ rosé impressed us for its complexity and ability to pair beautifully with seafood, we believe 'Préférences' is the perfect wine for those looking for a typical pale-pink, easy-drinking and refreshing rosé to enjoy all Summer long. For £15.30 per bottle, the wine offers the estate’s artisanal style of winemaking for superb value. We encourage you to also look at the magnums, as they sell out year on year.
